California Trip- Los Angeles

Our third and final stop in California was Los Angeles.

We had lots of fun in LA! Although we didn't see any celebrities, we still did a lot of cool things.

Santa Monica Pier

While in LA, we stayed at a hotel called the Fairmont in Santa Monica because Santa Monica is only a short drive away from Los Angeles. We didn't do much in Santa Monica except go for a walk down to the Pier which has a couple of rides on it. I was planning to go boogie boarding in Santa Monica but it was a bit cloudy so instead I went swimming at the pool at our hotel.
In LA we went shopping at the Grove and we also got to see Hollywood and Highland and the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The Hollywood Walk of Fame is a street of "stars" given in honour of many famous celebrities. Also, in front of the Chinese theater, celebrities have put hand and foot prints in the cement. It's really cool!

My favorite part of LA was definitely when we got a tour of Warner Brothers Studios. Warner Bros. has a huge amount of land where some very famous shows and movies are filmed. The tour was really cool. We got to see the outside of the buildings where Friends, Full House, Annie, Spiderman and many other shows and movies were filmed. We even got to go inside some of the sets like the set of a new show, Pretty Little Liars. We couldn't take pictures in these sets because they are called hot sets which means they're ready to be filmed on. The Pretty Little Liars set is a school so they have a bookcase full of trophies. You can't see this on camera, but if you look closely at the trophies they say things like World's Greatest Dad. It's so funny. We even got to see the Friends coffee shop. One of my favorite TV shows is The Ellen DeGeneres Show. The tour guide let us go through the backstage of the and go onto the stage where Ellen's show is filmed. That was the best part!
